"They
just grow up too fast." Our children's portraiture
aims to help you remember your children as you know them.
So when they leave for college you can look up at their
portrait hanging in the livingroom and smile with a tear
in your eye about how cute, shy, or obstinate they were
at that age, and laugh about how they never really changed
too much after all.
When booking a portrait
session for a child there are many things to keep in
mind. If possible you should try to book your session
whenever your child is usually at their best. This is
especially important for infants and toddlers. You want
to avoid bringing them in for pictures shortly before
nap time or eating, or after having shots. If your child
is well rested and has a full stomach many times the
session moves along much more smoothly.
Another way to give your
pictures a personal touch is to add props and toys from
home. Please feel free to bring along Johnny’s
favorite car, Mary’s ballet slippers or the twins
soccer gear no matter how dirty, tattered, and worn. |
